I had the privilege to study my PhD at Ghent University, Faculty of Arts and Philosophy, Department of African Languages and Cultures. Ghent University is a wonderful place to study. It has good research environment, great facilities, good doctoral school, and wonderful libraries, staff and student union. My two Supervisors, Prof. Dr. Koen Stroeken and Dr. Annelies Verdoolaege, were supportive, always gave fast feedback about my work and encouraged me through the studies, which allowed me to finish my PhD in good time-frame. I really enjoyed my time as a PhD student at Ghent University.
