Course overview:
The ANSER Summer School 2025 offers an in-depth exploration of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), focusing on fundamental yet pressing challenges in the field today. Participants will engage with cutting-edge research, emerging global trends, and critical debates through sessions led by international experts. Interactive discussions with peers from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds will create a dynamic and enriching learning environment. By the end of the course, participants will have gained a deeper understanding of SRHR’s global impact and its essential role in shaping health outcomes and rights for future generations.
Intended learning outcomes:
- Gain a foundational understanding of SRHR, including current global trends, progress, and challenges
- Examine SRHR from a multidisciplinary perspective and understand its integration into broader policy frameworks, such as the SDGs
- Develop skills in intercultural collaboration and engage in meaningful discussions with peers from around the world

Minimum requirements:
Students should fulfil the following criteria to apply for participation:
- be formally registered or enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master’s or Graduate programme for the academic year prior (2024-2025) or after the Summer School (2025-2026)
- have a specific interest in SRHR and global health
- have sufficient knowledge of English to understand the courses, read SRHR-related articles, and qualitatively complete a written exercise
- be open, interested and respectful towards other beliefs and backgrounds
- have full availability to follow the course, we expect participants to actively engage throughout the course from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5:00 pm CEST
Registration fee: €100
The registration fee is €100. This fee includes all classes and social activities, provides access to the course materials through a dedicated online learning platform and offers a certificate upon completion.
Students from institutions in low- and middle-income countries can apply for a fee waiver upon selection.
Application process:
To apply for the ANSER Summer School, please submit the following:
- Proof of Enrollment – A document confirming that you are registered in a Master’s or Graduate programme.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) – Outline your academic and professional background.
- Short Video (Max. 2 Minutes) – Introduce yourself and answer these three questions:
- Who are you?
- What is your special or unique talent (e.g., singing, dancing, cooking)?
- What motivates you to join the ANSER Summer School?
