Research interests
I am mainly interested in arthropod communities and their ecology. Arthropods can have a high influence on their natural environment and they make up a large part of the biomass. This makes them valuable bio-indicators for the state of the natural environment, and they can be used to evaluate nature management. In many ways, they deliver important ecosystem services, e.g., pollination, predation and decomposition. Linking arthropod communities to plant communities can help us to take reasonable measurements towards nature management and conservation.
