Hydro-Climate Extremes Lab (H-CEL)
The research at H-CEL comprises different areas:
- Remote sensing observation of hydrological variables and data assimilation
- Physically-based modelling of surface hydrology and land-atmosphere interactions
- Application of advanced mathematics to hydrology, ecology and climate
- Study of global hydrology and climate from observations and models
- Seasonal forecasting of climate extremes and mitigation
The Laboratory is responsible for teaching in Fluid Dynamics, Hydraulics, Water Resources Engineering, Groundwater Flow, Hydrology, Hydrologic Modelling, Geographic Information Systems in Hydrology, Irrigation and Drainage, Land–Atmosphere Interactions, and Climate Change Processes.
