Bio

Shekoofeh Haghdoost

After finishing my master's degree in Environmental Engineering with a specialization in water resource management at the University of Tehran, Iran, I started as a volunteer research assistant with the Hydrology and climate team. This experience provided valuable insights into hydrology and climate change, motivating me to pursue a Ph.D. at the HCL lab. So, I started my Ph.D. on January 2023 at this lab. My doctoral research revolves around the study of global evaporation, explicitly focusing on the Global Land Evaporation Amsterdam Model (GLEAM) and remote sensing. Currently, my research primarily centers on the assessment of global total water storage and its impact on changing soil moisture patterns.
