Robin holds a master's degree in Bioscience Engineering with a specialization in Agricultural Sciences from Ghent University. His master's thesis focused on the deployment of lacewings as biological control agents against aphids. In September 2024, he started his doctoral research in the laboratory of SoFer on the contribution of nematodes to soil nutrient cycling and plant growth, under the supervision of Prof. Stefaan De Neve and co-promotors Prof. Steven Sleutel, Prof. Wim Wesemael and Prof. Anne Willems.
