Sophie started working for Ghent University in 1999, at the predecessor lab of SoFer. She is in charge of pH, total organic carbon (TOC), electrical conductivity (EC) and gas chromatograph (GC) measurements. Sophie is also responsible for logistics of chemical products and lab equipment. Additionally, she guides students during lab sessions.
