Her research focuses on Agronomic biofortification of faba bean (Vacia faba L.), using plant biostimulants. Micronutrient deficiencies are recognized as the major public health challenges in many developing countries thus research on soil fertility improvement practices is essential to reduce the prevalence of micronutrient malnutrition and optimize human health. The overall aim of the research is, to enhance understanding of the potential use of plant biostimulants on faba bean biofortification and to provide an additional option to fight micronutrient malnutrition. Moreover, it is my interest working on soil fertility improvement programs which can reduce the use of chemical fertilizers and promote environmentally friendly alternatives to improve crop production and its nutritional quality.
