Bio
Katja Van Nieuland is a native of Ghent and joined the ISOFYS lab in 2006. She is responsible for the daily operation of our Sercon equipment, (TC)-EA-IRMS, Trace Gas -IRMS, HT-IRMS. She also runs Cavity Ring Down Laser Spectroscopy equipment for the measurement of 2D and 18O in water and 13C in CO2 samples. Katja provides training and assists researchers with sample preparation and analysis. Besides the lab-work she also organizes the annual isotope meeting as secretary of BASIS (Benelux Association of Stable Isotope Scientists)
