Ultra pfg-NMR spectrometer (Oxford Instruments)
Pulse field gradient Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) is a technique suitable for studying static properties of
colloidal materials and dynamic properties like self-diffusion, flow and relaxation.
This low-resolution NMR spectrometer is applied for characterization of several proton containing systems like:
droplet size determination of colloidal systems, enclosed water volume determination of water in oil -in water
emulsions and vesicular dispersions, diffusion coefficient determination of aqueous solutions, quantification of the
sedimentation and creaming velocity of suspensions and emulsions, solid fat content determination, etc.
