I-4-1-Health
Project
The Interreg project i-4-1-Health, within the border region of Flanders and The Netherlands, focusses on antimicrobial stewardship and the prevention of infection as well as the spread of resistant genes between animals and man.
Within this project, we are responsible for work package 5, livestock. The goal is to coach poultry- and pig farmers to an improved biosecurity and management on their farms by use of a herd-specific action plan, to reduce their antimicrobial usage subsequently. This project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
