–Infection dynamics of Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae and associations between the immune response and lung lesions. This research focusses on the immunity against Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae which is vertically transmitted from sow to piglets. This immunity is crucial in the first weeks of life of the piglet. The association between infection and immune response on the one hand and clinical symptoms and lung lesions on the other hand will be investigated.
