Stable climate
Project
A poor stable climate can cause various health problems and reduce performance in pigs. There is insufficient awareness about the effect of suboptimal climate which causes a higher use of antimicrobials for climate-related problems in the herd. It is key to demonstrate the impact of preventive measures as well as optimization of the stable climate in order to reduce antimicrobial usage. With this project we want to create awareness about this topic, so unnecessary use of antibiotics can be prevented. Another aim of the study is to introduce an easy way to monitor and optimize the stable climate.
