have the pleasure of inviting you to the inaugural lecture of the Francqui Chair 2023-2024 awarded to Prof. Dr. Sigrid Adriaenssens (Princeton University).
Sigrid Adriaenssens is Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Director of the Program in Mechanics, Materials, and Structures at Princeton University. As head of the Form Finding Lab, she conducts research on (the optimization of) the design of lightweight surface systems, which have broad applications in the fields of architecture and construction.
Inaugural Lecture - “Building the Future for People and Planet - Digital Architectural Design.”
