Beatriz Van Houtte Alonso

Beatriz Van Houtte Alonso (born 1996) works as a researcher and assistant at UGent. She was trained as an engineer-architect at UGent and an architectural historian at the Bartlett School of Architecture.

Her doctoral research, supervised by Professor Anne Kockelkorn, focuses on housing for single people in late 19th-century Brussels. She also regularly publishes essays and reviews, including in De Witte Raaf and OASE.
