Surface Topography Effects on Lubricated Frictional Contacts
Advanced Lubrication - Kristof Driesen
Past research indicates the role of surface topography on the friction coefficients of dry and lubricated contacts under quasi-steady conditions. Yet, the influence of surface topography on the non-linear frictional behaviour under non-steady conditions is left aside. In this project, numerical and experimental work is conducted to assess the influence of surface topography on the frictional behaviour of lubricated metallic surfaces under non-steady conditions.
