Automated Trust and Value Assessment of Web Content
In a technological landscape where data is constantly collected, processed, transformed, exchanged and re-used, it is of vital importance to be transparent to the user who accesses the data at a later time. Therefore, we investigate ways to model and reconstruct the provenance of data, as well as methods to provide proof that the data is suitable for the end user’s needs (Git2PROV). Additionally, we develop techniques that can safeguard the user’s rights when his or her data is processed, such as privacy preservation mechanisms in data mining systems.
