DIAMOND Project Launch Conference: How can we make bandages intelligent?
(24-10-2024) Register now for the DIAMOND conference: a project to develop a smart, connected dressing for the care of wounds in diabetes patients
Today, 21% of diabetic foot ulcer cases result in amputation. To prevent this complication and improve patients’ daily lives, the partners of the DIAMOND project have joined forces to develop an intelligent dressing capable of monitoring wounds in real time and automatically intervening if necessary. Thanks to integrated sensors, the DIAMOND dressing will detect signs of infection and deliver medication directly into the wound at the right time.
