Coating Line for Fabrics and Yarns

Coating systems are crucial to treat textiles to introduce special functionalities at the textile surface. A polymeric layer is deposited on the textile surface creating a non-homogeneous “composite” structure, e.g. for upholstery, airbags, anoraks, carpet backings, floorcoverings, roofing systems, etc.  Machines as the one shown here (from “Mathis” company) perform the coating process.
