Giuseppe and Pietro have arrived for their research stay outside of Italy.

Within the same week, Giuseppe and Pietro have arrived to Ghent in order to collaborate with the research group of Prof. Robby Caspeele.

Giuseppe is pursuing his PhD at the University of Palermo and Sacertis Ingegneria in Turin. His research project aims to develop a framework for assessing the structural safety of multi-leaf monumental masonry buildings. This framework is designed to assess the safety of complex masonry structures through a reliability-based approach, applying both the beta method and the global safety format.

Pietro is working on his master dissertation to achieve his civil engineering degree at the University of Parma. The purpose of his thesis is to evaluate the decline of existing structures in reinforced concrete. He focuses on calculating the assessment of a half joint using a probabilistic approach.
