Welcome to our department, Lorika!

We are pleased to welcome Denis Ayena Lorika, who has recently joined our department as a PhD researcher for the next four years. He will be working under the supervision of Stijn Matthys and Kim Van Tittelboom on the CARBCOMN project, exploring innovative and sustainable solutions for the future of construction. His research will focus on developing carbon-negative, 3D-printable cement-based materials tailored for compression-dominant structures and buildings. We are excited to have Lorika in our community and look forward to the valuable contributions his research will bring.
