Programme
The Welcome Week will be organised from September 16th until September 20th, the week before the start of the academic year. The programme contains practical information sessions as well as fun activities. This programme was developed in order to provide you with all necessary information for a smooth start and to get to know your fellow students along the way. This is why all new international degree students are obligated to participate in this programme. The Welcome Week is free of charge but registration is mandatory. The official invitation with the registration link will be sent in August.

WHAT
- Ufora, Oasis, SharePoint, TimeEdit,… has anyone ever heard of these digital platforms?
- You’ll soon be using these platforms on a daily basis so dive in our digital platforms and we’ll learn you how and when to use them correctly! Make sure to bring your own device so we can practice together. In addition, we'll also give more information about the master thesis.

Thursday September 19th: INTEGRATE
WHAT
- Have you never been in Belgium before and have no clue about our habits and our food?
- No worries, we will help you integrate by showing you the beautiful city of Ghent with some delicacies along the way and a cultural information session!
WHEN
- 10am - 5pm
WHERE
- Sint-Baafsplein in the city centre of Ghent (guided tour) and Campus Coupure (information session)
Friday September 20th: SEARCH
WHAT
- Not yet sure where the faculty library is or the best places to study?
- Search on campus Tweekerken and discover all classrooms and study places. We'll finish with a lunch in our garden (if Belgian weather allows us) where you can ask any questions you may still have.
