Athena is accessible with a UGent account: https://athena.ugent.be Through this application server, you can use all the software without having to install it (MS Office, statistical packages, dictionaries, ...).
Access to the libraries of the Ghent University (see also http://lib.ugent.be ) is possible. In the UGent, you get disk space for storing your data. Via Athena you can appeal this space directly.
Through the site "Centraal Auditorium- and Roosteringbeheer" (Centauro), you can consult your timetables. Log in with your UGent account and select " My Calendar ". Indicate which program you follow and you tick any group number. Then you can generate your own personalized schedule.

The faculty is always responsible for the operation (opening times, cleanliness, small defects, etc.). Each student will receive upon enrollment his/her own UGent email address in the form of [FirstName.Name@UGent.be]. Via webmail (http://webmail.UGent.be) you can manage instantly your email with any Internet connection.
