Frederik Anseel
Biography
Frederik Anseel is Professor of Organisational Behaviour and Vice Dean Research at King’s Business School (King’s College London) and affiliated to the Department of Personnel Management, Work and Organizational Psychology at Ghent University. He has held visiting positions at ESSEC Business School (France), Bocconi University (Italy) and University of Groningen (The Netherlands). Frederik Anseel studies the motivational principles that determine why and how people contribute to organizational success. His recent work focuses on how individuals can overcome motivational obstacles during the innovation and entrepreneurial process to “keep their fire burning”. His research has been published in leading journals such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes,Research Policy and Journal of Management Studies. Frederik Anseel currently serves as the President of the European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology.
