Jacob A. L. Vermeire is a FWO postdoctoral fellow at Ghent University and research fellow at Vlerick Business School in Belgium. He holds a Master in Industrial Psychology and Personnel Management and a Ph.D. in Business Economics from Ghent University. His research area is entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on entrepreneurship as a development tool for people in vulnerable contexts. He is also the faculty representative in Ghent University’s commission for development cooperation. Jacob published some of his work in Journal of Management Studies, Africa Journal of Management and Review of Social Economy.
