Jeroen Verbouw obtained his Master’s degree at Ghent University in Business Economics, major in Corporate Finance in 2019. He joined the department of Accountancy, Corporate Finance and Taxation shorty after. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate under the supervision of prof. dr. Sophie Manigart and prof. dr. Tom Vanacker. His research focusses on financial resource mobilization in entrepreneurial firms and how firms’ institutional environments and resource dependencies influence their financial resource mobilization processes. He presented his work at various conferences including the Academy of Management Annual Meeting, Babson Research Conference, the European Financial Management Association Conference and the European Academy of Management Conference.
