Sarah is a doctoral researcher at Ghent University. Earlier, she obtained a master’s degree in Business Engineering at the same institution. After having gained experience in the fast moving consumer goods industry, she started her PhD in 2015. In her research, Sarah focuses on social psychological aspects of entrepreneurship. Specifically, she is interested in factors that drive different entrepreneurs in pursuing their business, and how team dynamics are affected by these motivations. She is particularly interested in ventures that focus on social impact and sustainability. As part of her PhD, Sarah was affiliated to ETH Zurich in 2017, and is currently a visiting scholar at EPF Lausanne. Furthermore, she intensively collaborates with >>venture>>, the largest start-up competition in Switzerland.
