Tom Vanacker is Associate Professor at Ghent University and research fellow at the Vlerick Business School. He received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from Ghent University in 2009. He was visiting scholar at the Carlson School of Management (University of Minnesota) and the Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania). His research focuses on entrepreneurial finance and crosses the traditional boundaries between the management, entrepreneurship, and finance disciplines. Consistent with his interdisciplinary focus, his research is published in management, entrepreneurship, and finance academic journals includingJournal of Management Studies, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice and Journal of Banking & Finance.
