Consumer Behavior
Understanding consumers in their efforts to cope with the current societal challenges is the core business of the consumer behavior research cluster. In particular, the consumer research team focuses on sustainable consumption, healthy consumption and lifestyle, and consumer well-being. They apply state-of- the-art research methods such as experimental research and neuroscience to generate novel insights into the why (i.e. the fundamental underlying processes), the how (i.e. decision making processes) and the when (i.e. the impact of the environment and context on the consumer) of consumer behavior.
