Sports associations. Hospitals. Youth care. Work integration social enterprises. Theatres. Youth organizations. Social service providers. Professional associations. Nonprofit organizations virtually touch upon every aspect of society. They deliver public services on behalf of the government, influence public policy formulation through consultation and/or critique, and strengthen mutual trust and reciprocity among citizens by bringing them together. This research line focuses on the contributions of- and challenges for nonprofit organizations, which include - yet are not limited to -social entrepreneurship, organizational mergers, public accountability demands and individual giving behaviour.
