Nonprofit organizations virtually touch upon every aspect of society. They deliver public services on behalf of the government, influence public policy formulation through consultation and/or critique, and strengthen mutual trust and reciprocity among citizens by bringing them together. This research line focuses on the contributions of- and challenges for nonprofit organizations, which include - yet are not limited to -social entrepreneurship, organizational mergers, public accountability demands and individual giving behaviour.
