Short bio:
I am a PhD student in the Physical Activity & Health and Health Promotion research units at Ghent University. My research focuses on the short-term effects of physical activity (PA) on cognition in adults aged 65 and older in their daily lives. The first focus of my research is on the validity, reliability, and feasibility of cognitive tests that are used to assess cognition in that context, for which I use ecological momentary assessment. Additionally, I am interested in how adults aged 65 and older can be motivated to be more physically active. More specifically, I am examining how they experience certain self-regulation strategies that are used in interventions to promote PA.
