Short bio:

I am a PhD student at the research group of Physical Activity and Health at Ghent University. My research focuses on the determinants of physical activity (PA) in older adults (65+). In the first phase of my PhD, I focused on capturing the dynamic nature of psychosocial determinants of PA in this population, using Ecological Momentary Assessment. In the second phase, I conducted small-scale experimental studies to assess how these dynamic determinants affect compliance with PA recommendations and to explore older adults’ experiences of receiving PA suggestions in their daily lives through a smartphone application.
