In this lecture, Prof Dr. Stuart Gruant examines the principles of Ecophenomenological Performance (Grant 2018, 2015, 2013), as devised, practised, documented, and analysed by site-specific performance group, the Environmental Performance Authority.

It describes how an experiential artform whose medium is the manipulation of embodied sensory perception itself, provides an insertion into a wider ecology of a\ect with repercussions for the future preservation of the health of individuals, societies, and the earth itself.

After the lecture we foresee a 90 minutes discussion on the presented principles of Ecophenomenological performances with a focus on the importance, the value, possibilities and pitfalls of the intersection of these fields in the current world.

Therefore we ask each participant to propose a suggestion or question regarding the intersection of either: Ecology & phenomenology, Ecology & performance (studies), Phenomenology & performance (studies)
