Postgraduate Certificate General Dental Practitioner
The Postgraduate Certificate General Dental Practitioner, also called internship year, is organized by the University of Ghent and Leuven. The programme takes 1 year and includes both a theoretical part and a practical clinical part.
The Postgraduate programme General Dental Practitioner contains 60 credits and is a fulltime programme. The training requires a minimum of 1500 and a maximum of 1800 'study hours' and is divided in 250 hours of theoretical education and a clinical part of 1250 hours.
Afterwards, the student has to deliver a paper of approximately 10 pages.
