Evaluation of Applicability of Routinely Used Clinical Monitoring To Assess Right Ventricular Cardiac Performance

Description

In cardiac physiology construction of pressure-volume loops allows to make an in depth assessment of ventricular function. However, this requires sophisticated technology which is not readily available in routine clinical practice. This project aims to assess whether pressure-volume loops of the right ventricular can be assembled by the use of routinely available monitoring tools such as transesophageal echocardiography and pulmonary artery catheter.
