In Vivo Testing of Memsorb, a Novel Membrane CO2 Absorber, during Target Controlled Low Flow Delivery with the Zeus
Description
This research project examines the performance characteristics of a novel membrane CO2 absorber with an expected life expectancy of at least 6 months. The Zeus anesthesia machine will be used in target controlled low flow mode, and agent and fresh gas losses with a classical Ca(OH)2 based absorbent will be compared with that with the novel device.
