Adaptive communication skills between cancer and host
Within this line of research, the 'Experimental Cancer Research Group' focuses its research on the identification of adaptive communication skills between cancer cells and host cells (cancer-associated fibroblasts - CAF) during metastasis and therapeutic intervention. This includes the design of patient-relevant, metastasis-related assays to promote the discovery of novel therapeutic targets and biomarkers (under the supervision of Olivier De Wever).
