Extracellular vesicles interaction during metastasis
Within this line of research, the 'Experimental Cancer Research Group' focuses its research on the biological, diagnostic and therapeutic rationale of extracellular vesicles (EV) in tumour environment interactions during metastasis. This includes the pre-analytical, analytical and standardization issues to design international guidelines and standard operating procedures for clinical implementation in liquid biopsies and treatment (under the supervision of An Hendrix).
