Knee Research
Within this line of research, the 'Orthopaedics and Traumatology Research Group' focuses its research on several fronts:
- Kinematics of the knee and prosthetic knee
- Robotics as a research tool in biomechanics and to improve surgical techniques
- Ligament reconstruction of the knee: mechanical and biological obstacles
- Evaluation of new treatments: ATLAS study to treat medial osteoarthritis of the knee
- Gait analysis and research on the alignment of the lower limbs
