Research Activities

In research, we focus on underlying pathophysiological mechanisms to improve the clinical management of newborns. For this purpose, we study epidemiology, all clinical aspects, specific entities such as congenital cytomegalovirus infections, drug utilization, pain and discomfort, … . We also evaluate reanimation skills, newborn individualized developmental care and assessment, family-centered care, end-of-life decision making and long-term effects of prematurity.
