History of the collection L87

The foundation of the Turkish Studies collection was laid by a substantial donation from the Yunus Emre Foundation (2014) and Mr. Ziraat Bankası (Bank of Ziraat in Turkey) (881 volumes). The collection was further enriched by donations from the Flemish Community and relevant works from the History (L04, L06, L09), Near East and North Africa (L88), Slavonic (L90) and Byzantine (L93) collections.

The Turkish Studies collection has been available since the academic year 2015-2016.
