GICS lectures
Each academic year, the GICS organizes a series of lectures on a particular topic, related to the various research groups involved.
These lectures are explicitly aimed at a broad audience and conceptualized specifically to transcend the limits of its constituting subdisciplines in Classics.
These talks are usually delivered at Ghent University by invited speakers, who present their work from a wide and interdisciplinary perspective.
Each lecture is traditionally followed by a reception.
