Exhibition 'M/Others' @Modemuseum Hasselt

‘M/Others’ highlights both kinship and chosen families, mentoring, artistic affiliation and other forms of ‘mothering’. From parenthood as a catalyst for designers' creative energy to mothers as inspiration, 'M/Others' in the fashion world are back in vogue. Expect silhouettes from early ‘fashion mothers’ like Madeleine Vionnet and Jeanne Lanvin to contemporary designs by Thebe Magugu and Jacquemus, for whom mothers are muses.

The exhibition M/Others is curated by Karen Van Godtsenhoven together with Eve Demoen.
