Stakeholders
NewsDNA is accompanied by the major Flemish news content producers and MediaNet Vlaanderen. The latter groups more than sixty companies involved with content production and innovation in the media sector.
These industry partners will be involved in the project in two ways. First, they will provide content data to train and develop the news algorithm. Second, they will be part of the stakeholder group that will come together on a regular basis during the project. This stakeholder group has a double function. First, they will be used to provide feedback on the algorithm regarding applicability and compatibility with their proprietary algorithms. Second, we will involve them in drawing out scenarios on how to integrate the news diversity algorithm within the Flemish media landscape.
