Archipel

About

Research within the Archipel project builds further upon the results and realisations of the BOM-vl project and aims to clarify the technical and organisational challenges for the long-term digitisation of heritage within the cultural, scientific and educational field.

Within the project, MICT is responsible for providing a state-of-the-art overview of end-user licences (incl. open access models such as Creative Archive and Creative Commons) and best practices among national and international archive institutes. Furthermore, a representative sample of cultural and heritage institutions in Flanders will be surveyed.

Duration of the project

The project runs from 01/10/2009 - 30/09/2011.
