GRASP - Bridging the gap between QoE and QoS for mobile city applications
About
Quality of Service and Quality of Experience are undeniably two key concepts in the innovation-development process, as they also are in the user research which supports this process. However, in practice both concepts are still too often confused with one another, measurements have all too frequently been made with a fragmentary focus on a single component aspect and there is often a gaping divide between QoE (measurements) and QoS (development). The central aim of the GR@SP- project is to develop a methodology which bridges this divide. The project is intended to bring clarity to the relationship between the various QoE and QoS components and the methodology should go beyond the fragmentary by making ‘overarching measurements’ possible in the lab test environment.
