Peter Conradie is senior researcher at imec-mict-UGent. He holds a PhD in Industrial Design Engineering Technology from Ghent University (Faculty of Engineering and Architecture). He previously worked at the Ghent University, Department of Industrial Systems Engineering and Product Design, Rotterdam University of Applied Science, the Interface Design Lab of the FH Potsdam and the Design Research Lab (TU Berlin / Deutsche Telekom).
Since 2013 Peter has been involved in several Belgian and European research projects at Ghent University and imec, including successful project acquisition for European (H2020, UIA) and Belgian (SBO, ICON) funding programs.
His research interests include understanding and facilitating sustainable behaviour and attitudes through application of theoretical frameworks from social psychology, with an emphasis on quantitative methods. Additionally, Peter has (co) authored more than 50 peer reviewed articles in international journals and conferences.
