Lectures and roundtable seminar on Advanced Machine Listening inspired by Artificial Intelligence
This 3-hour event will exchange the latest ideas and developments on the topic with Prof Tuomas Virtanen from the Audio Research Group at Tampere University in Finland and Prof Wenwu Wang from the Machine Audition Lab of the Centre for Vision Speech and Signal Processing at the University of Surrey in the UK, as well as research groups at Ghent University and by extension interested groups of the Flanders AI consortium.
The event will start with 45-minute presentations by Prof Tuomas Virtanen and Prof Wenwu Wang on the topic of Advanced Machine Listening in relation to Artificial Intelligence, highlighting their latest developments. After a short break, a discussion session will be organized.
Participants can present their research in 3 minutes if they wish.
Prof Dick Botteldooren from the WAVES group will act as a moderator to facilitate discussions and interactions between the speakers and participants.
Both lectures and workshops are public and open to everyone.
