The seminar will give the background, in light of the PhD Topic, how the trial facilitation network Pedstart was founded and developed in France.
The seminar will give the background, in light of the PhD Topic, how the trial facilitation network Pedstart was founded and developed in France. The comparison will be both enlighting for pediatricians within clinical trials, as well as adult physicians since similar principles apply and a low inclusion of vulnerable populations are also present such as ultrarare disease patients and geriatric populations.
The presentation itself is estimated at 90 minutes to 180 minutes depending on the discussion. There will be possibilities to ask questions and interact. The lecture will be supported by the Belgian Pediatric Clinical Research Network (BPCRN), involving 15 connected hospitals as well within Belgium as well as multidisciplina
