Korte beschrijving

On-farm biosecurity procedures are intended to protect farm animals from various diseases; for better flock health and consequently for better economic results and less dependence on antibiotics. However, a complete uptake of the recommended measures has not been achieved. This PhD project aimed to gather knowledge of current biosecurity practices in Europe, and to enhance flock health through interventions and improved management practices.
